How about the matrix (-1, 0 0, -1). Would that matrix also show us a reflection y= -x?

I suppose it would make sense since it's precisely the same as the matrix describing a reflection in the line y = -x, except the co-ordinates are written in different order.

In 2D whether or not the order the transformation are applied affects the final image
