I genuinely haven't seen the gradient being equal to tan(x) before for whatever reason, that is fantastic!

I love you sir very much, makes me feel so happy as a mathematician .

Nice, wasn't expecting the line of reflection to be as simple as y=(tan0)x

Is there a way that you can use matrices to describe a reflection in any line. For example, how would you reflect a point in the line y=2x+3 for example using matrices?

Thanks, I like this video. Can I find a reflection matrix in R^3 using the same technique?

Thank you so much, this explanation is a treasure😃

So does the first column of the reflection matrix describe what happens to the reflection of your 'x' co-ordinate and the second column describe what happens to your 'y'?

do we have to know how to derive this sir?

would we need to know how to derive this for the exam? Same for the rotation matrix btw
