1) American Service/Plate Service.
2) Gueridon Service/Cart Service.
3) Silver Service/Plater to Plate Service.
4) French Service.
5) Russian Service.
6) English Service/Family style service.

The guiridon service is the French service, the passing around is a german service and the silver service is also the Russian service.

American service should remember like short form i.e. WPC 1.WATER POURING
2. PRE PLATED SERVICE
3. CLEARANCE

It's not chef who cooks the food it's chef de rang . Position . Called as waiter also . And it's cook infront of customers and served . Right away not parsley cooked . Cooked fresh right infront of guests. I am telling coz I am head waiter working for cruise ships .
