Cheaper option : an old phone a quadloc cheap Chinese copy, a usb cable and adapter for continuous power supply and ANY free GPS app. You don't even need network connection if you download the maps before ridding OR you use your every day phone as a wifi access point (in your jacket pocket).
Old / second hand phones are cheap and still good enough. I mostly care about screen brightness. You can also choose a waterproof version or easily waterproof it if you don't mind closing the various orifices usually dedicated to sound and connections...

I got the moto beeline. After few uses, my feeling is complex. 😅😮😢😂😊. Let’s say the Cons:
1. You really cannot see the sat nav where place/ weather is dark, since this is just black and white LED. This design can be simply fix if beeline add a lighting led on the edge.
2. As a learner motorcycle riders(CBT only), the beeline app map didn’t have a option to pick avoid highway and PayPal roll.
3. Beeline maps can’t not spot recent road repair and new ⛔️ no entry signs. Just ready to cry 😭 when you find yourself at dead end surrounded by bus gate and No entry.
4. You find yourself always missed when turn left and then turn right.😮 the sat nav always point backwards all the way for few minute and not yet reroute. 😅
Pros: 1. After the accident of felling from a moped while my phone was dropped, I noticed safety always come first. The device is the perfect solution of not dropping your phone while riding.
2. This is really easy to fit on my electric scooter with 3M sticker provided. On the other hand, Germin sat nav need to fit on handlebars while is not friendly to the big moped rider.
3. 😅 the device suits those who are just weekend riders and only having a short trip to McDonald’s. 😊😅🎉

Love the navigation, but it needs turn-by-turn voice navigation via BlueTooth headset.

Hi
Enjoyed your vid. I have a beeline and found it useful for many of the same reasons you mention in your video. Especially interested in what you say re not quit hitting the waypoint and therefore not moving on. A quick function button for moving on to the next waypoint would be useful. I have spent many experimental rides where I knew the route, but followed the beeline to try and figure out what it was doing.. I would appreciate a vid on importing GPX files from another app say calimoto. I prefer the beeline to attaching my phone as if me and my bike get separated for any reason I still have my phone.
Thanks

Expensive 🤔? I only payed 150€. You don't have a GPS for that price and then you still need a gos mount.
