How to backup and restore a MYSQL database through SSH

/usr/bin/mysqldump -u USERNAME -p DATABASENAME --single-transaction --quick --lock-tables=false > /LOCATION/TO/DATABASE/BACKUP.sql

TO RESTORE:

mysql -u USERNAME -p DATABASENAME < /LOCATION/TO/DATABASE/BACKUP.sql

after taking backup there is only one table is visible to us, but there are 7 tables and data's are not visible to us
