This paper has been written to help students prepare for AQA's GCSE Maths Higher Paper 2. It features topics that frequently appear on paper 2/3 and considers those that appeared on paper 1 already. The paper is original and created entirely by me and not by the exam board.

It can't just be me, but is this not quite a bit harder than a normal paper 2 for gcse aqa higher maths? Great paper though!

I’ve always wondered why the UK uses the letter “c” for the y-intercept? In the U.S., for some reason, we use “b.” As in, y = mx + b. I also noticed that in the UK, there are a fair number of questions about intervals and frequencies. They are similar in substance to inequality problems, but we rarely see them here. Anyway, I think this guy is one of the best math teachers on YouTube. Mr. Hagerty is also an another awesome teacher from England. And as I’m sure you know, we say “math, ” not “maths.” Why are you making a singular noun plural? We don’t say “biologys” or “historys.” Frankly, I kind of enjoy the way you guys do things across the pond much better, and not only in education…in most things! I’ve started using the words “proper” and “brilliant” more in everyday conversations more, the way you often do. I hope to vacation there again soon. Thanks for your valuable videos.

For Q14, I proved why 5x-20 has to = 90 as I already knew that that was the value due to the question. Therefore, I added 20 to 90 to get 110, and divided by 5 to get 22. Using x=22, I applied it to the 2 other angles and then added up all the angles (90+55+35) to get 180. As this also proves that it is a right angled triangle, but I used a different formula, would I still get the marks, or would I have to do it the way that you did?

Hi Sir for Q20 at 22:27, why cant it be 2 x -2 as if you leave the fraction originally as it is, as shown in the first step at 22:27 you would get -2x -4, instead of -2x + 4. Thanks

For Q21 shouldn’t it be 15.5 Celsius instead of 16 24:40 as you moved one bar along which represent 0.5 of a degree?

Hi, For question 10 my calculator doesnt have the format button. Is that type of question likely to come up because I was very surprised by it or is it just a test of calculator skills becayse I had to trial and error it for about 5 minutes for the prime factors of 791
