As pretty as these raw dog food bowls appear on social media, Feeding your dog a whole raw egg (egg yolk and egg whites) everyday can lead to Biotin deficiency and the risk of infecting any humans in the house with Salmonella!

To have these negative effects with your pet you would have to feed them the raw egg daily. So simply avoid that.

SAFE AMOUNTS OF RAW EGG YOU CAN FEED YOUR DOG:
And just 1 Raw egg is all they need. No need to feed them 2.
And your small toy breed dog's only need half of a raw egg.
Only feed them a raw egg 2-3x a week.

I PERSONALLY RECOMMEND: FEEDING COOKED EGGS TO YOUR DOGS
Cooked eggs can be fed to your dog daily.

YOU CAN SAFELY FEED THE EGG SHELLS TO THEM: Egg shells are a great source of Collagen, Chondroiitin, and Hyaluronic acid and glucosamine. Which can support healthy bones and teeth for your pup!

Alright guys, do you like feeding your dog's Raw Eggs??? Comment below how you feed it to them and if it improved their health?

Excellent video! I feed my dog raw eggs to help with winter dry coat issues. My understanding is the nutrients in yellow part of the egg offset the white part of the biotin issue...so feeding the entire egg is super important. Don't forget to give them that thin lining inside the shell (super nutrient for joints, coat, etc).

You should be worried about getting sick if you eat raw eggs from GMO corn and soy fed chickens that are caged and have antibiotic residue in their meat and eggs. Only eat pasture raised eggs, the darker orange color the yolk the better quality it is (although some farmers now use synthetic coloring for their yolks, same as farmed salmon that also gets colored). Very bright yellow egg yolks are most likely low quality and should be avoided, the shells crack very easily but with organic or pasture raised the egg shells are much harder to break unless its an old egg. I been eating raw pasture raised meat, raw organic egg (only the yolk), raw organic hamburger which literally tastes like salami but im still not sick, no longer wasting time cooking on most days. Vitamins are very heat sensitive, the B vitamins are lowered with cooking. Total calories are also lower, enzymes are destroyed. Like said in the video its better to avoid eating raw egg white too often because raw egg white contains avadin which is an antinutrient, avadin binds to biotin (vitamin b7) so you can't absorb it.

I found vital farms pasteurized whole eggs. (liquid form)
Since it has the yolk, for biotin, and its pasteurized, I am hoping it is safe for my 50 lb basset. If I cook it, he will just eat the egg and leave the kibble.

What was in the pan? 2:10? Oil? U put oil in a non stick pan? For an egg?? For a dog??? Pancreatitus? That was like 2 tsp of oil there. That's insane. U don't need any oil in any pan to cook an egg folks. I cook them in my allclad all the time. Just make sure it's hot first n let the egg cook till it releases. It's well before it's over. And w a nonstick it should be seconds.

This is overly paranoid. Feed your dogs loads of eggs. Raw, cooked, with shells, everything. They are hugely beneficial and the worries here are over very rare occurrences. Vet info can be weird. I’ve heard them threaten to report people over not getting their dogs vaccinated for rabies. Do you know how many domesticated dogs had rabies on average in the last few years in the US? It’s a whopping 2. These days “experts” can often be functionally more like paid parrots and pharmaceutical sales people
