Smart glasses are the future .
It will completely destroy smart watches, as they would become obsolete .
They will become just as popular as wireless earbuds. You would have a case on which you would put the glasses and and recharge them .
Just imagine having the power of Google lens, Google Maps, Google translate right in front of your eyes.

You keep saying these days no one would blink an eye at wearing something like this on your face, but don’t give any examples to support that at all. Nothings changed as far as I can tell. It would still fail for most of the same reasons today as years ago if launched again.

Google Glass was a difficult sell 9-10 years ago because no one wanted a camera pointed at their direction. Is this still the case in 2022, I'm not sure.

Pretty interesting topic Dom. I didnt realize that Google Glass took so long to come out to such an exclusive group. Im sure it will be available again to the general public after some rework/ updating. And we will expect you to have a pair to review and compare to the old ones you have in the drawer.

Well~ Google Stadia is another project that Google failed with. I wouldn't be surprised if Google Glass is another failed project. But I also wouldn't be surprised if Google licenses out the tech to companies that have a more robust and customer-trusted brand. Maybe we'll get smart glasses from Samsung (for example).
