It would have to be sub $200 to be acceptable. one of the problems with all wearable tech is how fragile they are. regular glasses are already fragile enough and they are designed to be as light as possible. add some projector (i'm guessing thats the screen tech), a prism, battery, sensors, and the frame itself and I don't think it would even survive a drop. Glass would have to be cheap to the point where it is practically disposable (something you can replace often).

The google glass needs to have one extra camera, so it can understand 3D gestures from your hand without using any buttons. Kinda like the kinect. But man this is awesome. It would be great if I could use it with my bad eye, The glass window is right where I'm blind... but not exactly. Hmmm.

It's a new concept. Anything so ambitious and ahead of it's time is going to be limited and pricey. It will improve with time.

Google Goggles needs to get on these asap. That's an app that has a ton of potential if adopted by the masses.
