CX-5 is still made in Japan. CX-50 is made in the US. I'd take a made in Japan vehicle over anything made in the US.

As a Honda and Toyota guy, i got a CX 50 Turbo Premium Plus! It’s great and the handling is amazing.

The horsepower and torque for both Turbo models is the same. You gave 93 octane numbers for the cx-50 and 87 octane numbers for the cx-5.

I started working for a Mazda dealership as a lot attendant/car washer about 3 months ago.

The CX-50s are pretty neat. They handle pretty well and have good visibility. To me the CX-5s just feel like they have even better visibility, plus a better turning radius.

For me personally, I'd go with a CX-5. But the 50s look really cool. Mazda should definitely keep both models.

One of my friend has recently bought cx-50, and we had a nice long road trip together. It is a great car, interior design is plain and useful, car has enough room for 5 adult passengers, trunk is large enough to fit large suitcases, sound isolation is well made; you don't hear any wind, road or engine sound. The vehicle gets decent gas mileage. Engine is powerful enough to do all tasks you demand from the car.
