You are such a lovely family. I also appreciate how protective you are of your children's privacy. So many YouTubers turn their families into revenue streams creating more and more outlandish content with the children becoming miserable.

I would imagine that arriving in the UK to live, with the start of Covid, was literally "thrown in at the deep end." It couldn't have been more challenging. My hat comes off to all of you. You can guarantee that whatever you discard you will wish you hadn't.

You both come across as top notch people. Fair play to you. Great to see you settling in so well, and having great life experiences.

Thank you for all of the videos. We just moved to Portugal from the US with two kids. Best decision we’ve ever made.

I really appreciate what you said about gender. This is how you parent! There are no "boy or girl" things - everyone can take an interest in anything and is treated the same. But we also know we are a girl or a boy/man or woman. This is how it should be.

Hi Mac & Blair, ....it was a cold spell - that describes nearly every month in England, it's always a cold spell! Actually we do have nice days, sometimes even two or three together but by now I expect you've noticed that even in summer one day can be blazing hot and the next day raining cats and dogs.
I think even the poet Lord Byron said an English summer is two days in July. Im so impressed by what responsible and mindful parents you are and you're bringing up your children right. Your giving them skills to cope with life later. I wouldn't have bothered with all that online schooling. I'd have read them Charles Dickens etc but I don't have kids, thank goodness but I just couldn't have coped with all that, so shows how responsible you both are that you made the effort.
On the you tube I watch which is I know a very small proportion of you tube, but on my yt, a lot of Americans are leaving USA to live in Europe somewhere. I think they are wise. I think something toxic is going on in USA but I won't say any more than that.

I found it fascinating how separate you feel from the Caribbean culture based on your exposure to our community growing up and working in the USA. Well black ( British)African Caribbean’s are YOUR cousins we came from the same diaspora. We were all taken from west Africa and separated and split between America and the Caribbean. Please explore the community when you visit London and also when you come to London you should visit the British museum natural history museum and other museums as they are free also which would be cost effective for your family.
Please visit events that celebrate black culture too they will make you feel so proud! There are lots of British documentaries that can reveal black British history some unsettling and some thought provoking and wonderful. The midlands doesn’t have as much resources and culture spots as London.
NOTTINGHILL carnival is wild. They have children’s day on the Sunday and adults day is Monday but I agree only you parents should attend there is far too much walking and overcrowding for little ones…

I am so happy that your wife is expecting ( me too) and I wish her the very best she looks so super youthful too x

You’ve shared so much and I would love to forward suggestions of other places you can enjoy in the UK. Keep living your best life! Keep travelling and educating your children.

Another tip…for high street shopping
For groceries and toiletries and clothing
Try;
Primark
Savers
Superdrugs ( get the beauty card)
Aldi and LidL good quality food and great prices especially for nappies for new baby.

Go into eventbrite for antenatal classes or baby events there are lots of free events that just require ticket entry even though you don’t pay.

Please enjoy the free travel in eurostar for babies until they are 4 years old!

Thx for a truly in depth look at how you tackled this complicated issue. My two oldest and I did the reverse - moving to Loudoun County after my wife, their mom died. The greatest strength for my two, then aged 9 and 10, was their respective school. Their rapid acceptance by their new classmates at their DC schools was an enormous boon. We enjoyed our weekends together in rural VA, and they had hectic and lively lives at their schools M-F. They still correspond with friends they made over those six years, even now 25 yrs later.

Really enjoyed that guys, thank you. You can see how well adjusted your children are in lots of your other videos. I was wondering how you picked schools for them. Did they go to the nearest one to your house, or did you look around and chose a different one?
How does the school compare to their previous one in USA? Are you happy with the standard of education etc. If you went back to America, could they slot back in ok?
Of course their view of the world will be so enhanced because of all the travel experiences you have given them.
So happy for the news of the twins and hope all goes well for Blair. Is there a relative that could come over for a few weeks after the birth to help out? Twins are hard work.😂

Your twins are going to be dual citizens? It is a great advantage for them I think, they will really be world citizens, having a foot in north America and Europe...

The UK is a great base to travel Europe and see especially to those great cities of history and culture.

Yes lockdown was really difficult for all, a passage of time I hope we don't go through again, but realistically it might well happen again, given the multitude of new viruses in the last 20 years or so.

I wish you all well, but especially Blair in the next few months. An exciting new journey is to begin for all of you, children who will unite 2 continents into 1 family, making your social demographic even larger. Oh if any of them are good at sport? Make sure they get in the union jack team😉😂
