I have had a bad habit of mixing my notebooks up, meaning I end up journaling, listing, phone/TV notes, reminders, phone #s, addresses, bday reminders, appts etc, all in the same book and as they come in. I always start with good intentions but it never fails I fall back to this habit. Makes purging notebooks hard. My daughter bought me Kon Maris book for Christmas in 2019 and I loved it, got my clothes done & it's awesome!.. her Netflix series helped a bit too but I hit a block being alone. It's funny I was just praying (quietly and not near my phone, LOL) for some guidance for this kinda stuff and daily planning and supernaturally a notification dropped for your daily planning video that led me here. Cracks me up, He hears even our inside voice and knows what we need. Enjoyed the daily planner video too btw!

I have decluttered clothes, shoes, sunglasses, storage bins, seasonal items (every one of them), hangers, makeup, stationery items, dishes of every kind, books, toys, pictures (decor), shredded paperwork, linen, plastic bags, cosmetic and other hand bags, etc. I’m at the point in my life where I’m like (excuse my French) F- it! I asked myself do you want things or space and a peace of mind. Too much stuff can cause stress and depression. You’ll think you’ll need or even want it but when you let it g you really do feel better. I reuse some of my old towels for large spills so I keep those and only about 3 big towels for that. What really gets me is when I see the show like oh no let me get in here and clear out! Lol anyway nice video.

As much as possible I take to my local charity shop...they take scrap material too...so any clothes etc that have holes etc can still be used and recycled x

Love that shirt!!!

Need to start thinking about decluttering, especially with my collections of stuff; collections of fountain pens that I’m not using at the moment, my text books that I read (I like to highlight and make notes), and the magazines I liked to read.
I suppose I could donate some stuff, immediately after finishing it, or a year or so...

I just found your channel and I really like it ❤️

Whenever I declutter, I have a donate pile and a sell pile, usually my sell pile is huge and now I have a new issue which is storing my sell pile

When we moved I donated 4 large boxes of books and it didn't even make a dent in my collection. Time to go through them again.

Maybe you could ask if the dry cleaner would take the hangers back?

1. old magazines that you never "got around" to read. I have old medical magazines on my desk that I use for CME and the date has passed to claim credit. Since I cannot laim the credit, I keep saying well at least let me "read" it to build my knowledge on the topic. 1-2 years later....still on my desk unopened.
2. makeup you never used or only used once in the past 1 year. including the samples you get for free on your birthday or that came with certain purchases.
3. old food containers, bottles, and/or lunch bags. enough said lol

TFS! This is an area that has taken over...been working on. One of my #19before2019 is to declutter two areas in my home by 12/31/18.

Papers either scan them or shred them but don't let them pile up

New subscriber here and I am loving your channel. I love to find like minded people who are passionate and interested in the same things. Also, are you from Louisiana? I hear a slight accent.
