At 7:50 in your video there is a triangular (or rectangle with most of one corner removed) hole that a double-sensor is fitted into. Yours has golden metal with 2 holes in, but my replacement screen has a black plastic film stuck in the bottom of the hole without any tab to remove it. Should I remove the plastic? I can't see how the sensors would be any good with a black plastic film in the way.
Also, my screen kit has an extra piece supplied in a plastic envelope, which is a shiny rectangle like a screen connector, but with 9x15 tiny metal spots on the back, and a simple 6-way ribbon connector coming out of it, with "14P/PM" in white letters on the ribbon. I can't see where it is supposed to go, can you tell me please?

Good video. I’d add to not put too much heat to the front sensor because it’ll cause the solder to disengage from the sensor. Ooops.

I'd rather pay a person who does this a lot, than try this myself. I spent a pretty penny on my 14pro max 1tb, and the dang screen has a crack from the top to the bottom, never been dropped. It doesn't effect the way it works, but its annoying to look at. Wish you lived around me!

I think that screen has been refurbished, they've used CPG it looks like on the frame not the greatest hence the frame falling off.
