How to turn off (or on) the Always On Lock Screen Display for iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max. Also new to iOS 16.2 - how to turn off notifications and remove the background wallpaper to make it black.

I just got this version of the iPhone and Apple has put some really dumb features into their phones over the years, but ranks among the top. What is the point of this? Did it serve a UX purpose?
