I guess this tutorial wasn't really about vegrant. I had to listen to the entire Lamp setup, and I didn't get the idea of how vegrant works with PHP since I am pretty much unfamiliar with Vegrant. I only used it once for an Android tutorial and it was a pain to install on Ubuntu.
However, it made debugging way easier.

Yes, it would be nice to have a more serious tutorial on Vegrant.
