My ‘Final Completed’ plaster sculpture. A suggestion offered by one of our Egyptology community enthusiast.

This project in progress will be a depiction of the pharaoh Thutmose III (Luxor Museum) wearing the 𓋚 Atef Crown (combines the Ram, Uraeus, and Cow Horn-Sun Disk). The plaster was a mix of:
1 part Water
3 part Durabond 90
1 part Sheetrock 20

Mix well and pour into mould and let dry/cure for 2 days.

The tracing was done using the “dotting method” used by Leonardo DaVinci. You trace the image my punching holes in the images and then either using dark dust or in my case a permanent marker to fill in the holes. The end goal is to make the plaster look like it came out of the ground; damaged through the centuries.

Do you know of any scholarly work which has been done regarding Beards? Once again my curiosity is inspired by your work. It seems quite complicated when a Pharaoh should wear one. In the presence of the Gods sometimes he wears one and sometimes not. Sometimes straight sometimes curved. Scribes see
