Former Republican presidential candidate and Trump campaign surrogate Vivek Ramaswamy urges the Trump campaign to focus on policy over name-calling following the selection of Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) as Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate, while criticizing Walz for calling Donald Trump and Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) "weird."

Because putting tampons in boys bathroom is totally normal. Walz is a terrible pick.

Nothing says “dangerously liberal” like making lunches free for kids in public schools.

I'm convinced Ramaswamy and Kari Lake are the same person. Has anyone ever seen them together?

Vivek is the smartest guy in the room, just ask him, he'll tell you.

Host didn’t clarify that Walz didn’t call Republicans as weird, he just called Trump and Vance as weird, which they are. Comparisons to “basket of deplorables” is inaccurate.

A truly rare moment when the Democrats and Republicans agree on a political issue! They both LOVE the Democratic VP pick!

Trump doesn’t call 1/2 the country names. He calls specific people names for specific reasons.

I'd rather someone who fights to feed kids than Vance who hates cats...and women

You don't have a message for America that's honest or helpful. Go away.

Vivek would’ve been a great VP. Hope he runs for president one day.

Isn't this guy's 15 minutes about up?

Vivek, JD Vance has clearly stated why Walz is aggressively liberal, point by point on his controversial policies. And how his ticket’s policies will help. The interviewer has no clue about the policies of either parties nor does it seem like he ever heard a red rally. He seems to be just following a script that he was told to ask!

Ramaswamy’s comments on Walz being a confusing pick fall flat for me after watching his speech yesterday. Walz hit a home run last night. Dude talks in plain speak about things that are important to me.

Whenever I see this guy talking, I'm expecting him to try and sell me a used car or some Flordia swamp land.

FYI...

Now a US senator from Ohio, Vance, 40, deployed to Iraq in 2005, as a military journalist. Despite his title – combat correspondent – he did not experience combat.

Vivek is so sharp he just destroyed this host on NBC. This guy tried to bate him and throw a few curve balls at him to criticize Trump but Vivek is way too sharp and witty to fall for that crap. 🤣

I live in a Republican State and my kids have gotten free lunch while Trump was in office. I got free school lunch while President Bush was in office. My undergrad was covered 100 percent by Pell Grant while President Bush was in office- when Obama was elected, my Pell Grant covered tuition only, no books like when Bush was in office.

People are too tied up with what politicians say rather than do.

Shame on you people who are donating your money to politicians rather than donating money to people who actually need it.

Ramaswany just loves to swing both ways trying to weasel his way in. First he was reciting Trumpism, now, sensing Trump may lose he wants to jump.
