7 Part Video Series comparing three of the top selling in-pool chaise loungers.
Part 3 of 7 compares how to fill the loungers with water.
1. Tenjam Shayz In-Pool Lounger = 10 Points
2. Floating Luxuries Kai Shelf Lounger = 5 Points
3. Ledge Lounger Signature Chaise = 2 Points

How we arrived at the scores (1 = lowest, 10 = highest):
1. Tenjam Shayz In-Pool Lounger = 10 Points: Filled in less than 1 minute without the need for tools. The easiest and fastest in-pool lounger to fill. Simple "Speed Fill Ballast System" is patent pending. Top handle makes it easy to hold the Shayz Lounger while filling, When the bubbles stop flowing out of the vacuum valve we knew the Shayz was full and then a simple twist of the vacuum valve seals the core of the Shayz and locks the water inside. The open holes on the bottom allow treated pool water to constantly circulate into the core of the lounger without changing the vacuum seal or the internal water level. This system also works in conjunction with the optional height adjusting risers. They even have an optional pump that can be connected to the vacuum valve and the user could use this pump to fill the core of the lounger if they would rather use this method.
2. Floating Luxuries Kai Shelf Lounger = 5 Points: Filled in approximately 4 to 5 minutes - depending on the speed of your water hose. We are a little confused on the filling instructions for the Kai Lounger. The manufacturer instructs the user to fill the lounger with a hose (untreated water). We used a pliers to remove the big screw plug at the top of the headrest and then inserted a hose and filled until water started dripping out of the "vent holes" on the sides of the leg rest. This lounger is wide and bulky and doesn't have handles to help the user manipulate the position when placing it in the water.
3. Ledge Lounger Signature Chaise = 2 Points: Filled in approximately 4 to 5 minutes - depending on your physical ability to handle this chair while trying to get all of the trapped air out of the core. Ledge Lounger has a patented screw plug system incorporated into most of their in-pool furniture. Frankly, this system wasn't easy to use and I can only imagine the grief of filling their even larger products. We had to remove plugs with a screw driver, toss and turn the chaise to get the water inside, then replace the plugs with the screwdriver while holding this chaise upside down in the pool. After our attempt to fill the Ledge Lounger we must still have not removed all of the internal air because the front end was still bobbing up and down on the sun shelf. We really should have unscrewed the plugs again and worked on continuing to fill their chaise. Ughh...too funny.

Thanks for your videos, I bought two lounges similar to the first one you fill up with water, and I tried to do same as you did but still faulted, do you have any tips for me, I’m going to put the house on market this weekend but this part doesn’t look good since lounges are moving everywhere 😢

Why didn't you just take the Kai lounge into the pool to fill it entirely with pool water like you did with the Tenjam?
