Airport staff can find any number of reasons to stop you, just try to be patient and polite. In most situations there’s a reason why you get stopped. Don’t rush things if possible as that’s probably how you make a mistake. One suggestion I have is to have a few coin bags with you so when you are ready to empty your pockets you know that there’s nothing to worry about as it were. I think it’s a fairly easy mistake to make as it were. In most cases if you watch the other people around you it will give you an idea about what to remove, belts from trousers and other things too. Rules are there for a reason it’s not smart to break them as you might cause a delay which could ultimately cause you to either miss the flight or be subjected to a fine for not complying.

I visited Fort Worth and fell in love with a pair of longhorns. I thought I would be able to check in in one of the golf bag boxes. I was informed they no longer had those boxes and that I should just bring the longhorns onboard, which would fit in the overhead bin. WHAT? After we deplaned, the guy who had been sitting next to me commented that he couldn't believe that I had that on the airplane. I explained that I really tried to check it.

I took curd bath in a Stainless steel tiffin box from Miami to London. No problem .But in London Airport they had trown it to the bin.. It was my lunch as I was have stomach problem, can;t Aircraft food so I had taken my food. It ia same British Airways. from london to chennai.
