Not gonna lie, this is one of the few anime that actually felt like a fantasy anime.

I don't think the hair animation in this show will ever be surpassed. It's a seemingly small detail. but imo its very impactful to the overall feeling of many of the most visually powerful scenes.

The crazy thing is that half of those shots are not even action and there are some that didn’t even make it to this compilation(like the amazing dance between Fern and Stark). The staff dedicated as much time and energy to the action scenes as they did to the slow moments, which are the ones that define this entire series and make it as magical as it was

Really great compilation of the series! Frieren was an anime that really surprised me with how beautiful it is both visually and story-wise. I gave it a try sometime after Attack on Titan finished, and I was just blown away from the first episode. From there I just got hooked into catching up and eventually watching each episode as they aired up to the recent finale. Seeing the themes about the passing of time, and of enjoying all of the little things and finding new family and friends across your journey, made this series a truly wonderful show to experience.
