The MOST Power Production

Sand is an unforgivable resistance. When you stop providing power, it stops moving. It doesn’t “float” like a barbell or dumbbell.

This requires you to give your utmost explosion for the entire duration of the lift, especially at the top⬆️.

This makes for good training in Olympic Lifting because the top is where many lifters tend to miss ending with full power.

Some coaches describe it as “getting tall” or “triple extension”, which means “finishing” at the very end of your body’s extension.

After all, you’re trying to make the object “fly”.

Even if it doesn’t, this mindset will create more power that ends in full extension, instead of cutting it short.

This video is a clip from a Sandbag Tutorial that will be out soon.

Sandbag Work can create immense functional strength and power applicable to all sorts of things in the real world.

Here’s a Sample Workout I did using one:
• 3 Sandbag Cleans OTS
• 21 GHD Situps
• 3 Sandbag Cleans OTS
• 21 Pullups
• 3 Sandbag Cleans OTS
• 15 GHD Situps
• 3 Sandbag Cleans OTS
• 15 Pullups
• 3 Sandbag Cleans OTS
• 9 GHD Situps
• 3 Sandbag Cleans OTS
• 9 Pullups
• 3 Sandbag Cleans OTS

I used a 150# Sandbag (the one shown) to give it an intermittent weighted challenge between bodyweight movements.

Great workout. Finished Sub-15.

Give it a shot and adjust as needed. Let me know if you have any questions!
