Thank you so much for this! I started learning this since about a week and this is really helpful. Also I think it's really good and essential that you teach while still naming the chords (tonic, subdominant, etc.). I see that classical music is often approached and taught in a way that you should focus on what the sheet music says, which is also important of course, but it is more essential to truly understand how the piece is composed. I've been playing piano for about 11 years but only started 'really' understanding how chords work within a scale when I wanted to compose music for myself. I don't think I would have written the songs I have with mere notes on sheet. Mozart had such a great understanding on the effects of certain harmonies and chords, and I'm thrilled to learn more... thankyou and greetings from Holland :)

Important tips which are clear and can change so much in the playing you give here. I think having a clear imagination of the music while practicing, and then trying to express it so that it sounds correspondingly helps to follow the tips you give. Best wishes, Jaak
