I would like to have lottie animation as splash screen. Works this the same as with the images? Maybe it would be a nice addition to this video with a lottie animation. I pretty new to Ionic there is a lot to learn and your videos helps a lot, thank you.

I have capacitor.config.json what should i do. when the splash sceen needs to show in my android it is showing out of size as it is showing for u in IOS.

It worked for ios and android 11-. But latest android phones shows app icon in the middle with big white background.

this didn't work for my use case but thanks for for making a tutorial anyway i learned other things, i wanted to have my splashscreen fill the whole screen instead of it being cropped as in the middle.

i have the same config you have but unfortunately on Android 12 the splash doesn't show up. I'm using Ionic 6 and Capacitor 4

For Android 12, it is not working. the splash screen is not showing.

This is outdated if your using capacitor v4 or v5, you should be using capacitor-assets not cordova-res
