Coach Cronin met with reporters after UCLA lost at Maryland, 79-61, before a crowd of 15,172 at Xfinity Center in College Park, Md., on Friday evening.

Last few games the Bruins have been getting manhandled inside. I’m not sure why Mara isn’t playing more. I get he’s raw, but his length makes it tough for opposing players, and he’s the best rebounder per minute played.

People will blame Cronin but as we see they just don’t have the talent. Even the analyst of todays game said and I quote “Cronins right people think he was harsh but these guys need to look in the mirror” those comments came from professionals not twitter users who work at the factory who think Cronin is “mean”

Cronin is insufferable; never his fault although he failed to recruit guards. Can’t rip his guys twice in a row so he goes after the refs without basis. He says he wanted to get thrown out to send a message, so he turns a 7 point deficit into a 11 point lead with 5:30 left and seals the loss.

The team... as a whole... can't shoot. Cronin needs to sit down and stop pretending like he's conducting an orchestra. He's distracting the players. Point to spots on the floor... telling them when and where to pass... shoot... everything. Given no chance?? Come on. You have to play the game the way it's called. Play well enough so that the officials don't matter. Part of the shooting woes comes from being distracted. They hesitate. Can't shoot that way. Blaming the officials. Ugh

It feels strange to hear CMC c/o “reach, grab & hold” when in some ways he teaches do everything to win including “reach, grab & hold” disguised as being “tough”

These are games where players need to learn not dwell on it. Keep improving . If you even finish .500 in this league, you have accomplished a lot.
You’re playing at a high level every time.
Have to be ready to bring your A game every time.
These games will help develop the players and some will blossom .
I think UCLA has a really good coach . He knows how to develop a team the right way. First year in Big Ten is quite a challenge . It’s only in the beginning, keep hanging in there and keep fighting

Our front court has clearly hit rock bottom physically and defensively. We're too small and asking Tyler to guard a 7 footer on one end and be our best offensive player on the other is not sustainable. Start Mara. He's young and he's going to screw up from time to time, but Cronin needs to at least try to make this change to turn around our season before it's too late.

This team is slow. They give up too many open threes, too many points in the paint, too many second-chance points and fumble it away too often. They can no longer hit a jump shot or a free throw.

This team cannot play any worse than it is right now.

Cronin wasted an entire recruiting cycle last year. Nearly a complete waste. Rebooted by grabbing transfers praying they would fit together. He needs to own that he built this team. You are the GM and HC bro. This mess is on you.

The guard play is just horrendous. All that money spent in the portal and they get absolutely nothing from the guard position every game. There was so many good guards in the portal and they chose an undersized inefficient shooter in Clark. Awful
