This is one of Micks best press conferences! His decision to start and keep William Kyle in was brilliant. I really think Mick took it down a few notches and now these kids are responding. Go Bruins

All the teams in the conference are going to get beat up a lot, we've just got to hang in there and keep fighting Bruins 💪

Mick: “no one is more accountable than me” Also Mick after a loss: “I’m the only guy brining energy at practice. The toughest guy in the room can’t keep being me. I’m pissed off with the players and the staff. I don’t have to do anything else. I almost have 500 wins and I’m only 53. You’d think I’d be coaching the lakers.” 😂

Too bad that people are not showing up. In a Town that has the Dodgers and Rams fans want winners.

Glad to see Mick's in a good mood. I guess his team's not as soft as they used to be.

Cronin should have his coaches watch film of Wooden’s UCLA teams on how to rebound, be ready to rebound and get in position to rebound so they can learn themselves and then teach the players during practices.

The recent UCLA practice video where the player moves to screen out the coach waiting for a rebound is ok but the player should have been in position first to rebound and then screen out the coach trying to get the rebound. Wooden emphasized that his players should position themselves to go get the ball rather than keeping the other players from getting it.

Bill Walton was a great rebounder not just because of his size but he was always in the position to get a rebound.

I come to LA from Cincinnati every year for vacations and the flight can be exhausting. The only direct flight out of CVG is a 6am going there and a red eye coming back. I wouldn’t go to LA unless I had a bare minimum 4 days otherwise it’s just not with the hassle. A layover going that far is just not worth it so I avoid it at all costs

fires have been a major distraction when the fires are 1 miles away.

Coach, if Pauley Pavillion was sold out, your team wouldn't have shot as well. They get jittery in front of a full house. They were much more relaxed in a quarter filled Pauley.
They must relax @ have fun at their game.

Enjoy basketball as much as anyone. But Mick's teams are synonymous with hard to watch because the offense is so poor. The past 6 games prior to last night they have been extremely hard to watch. There's just nothing in the offense that brings a crowd out. Offense is horrible, no movement, no passing, lots of dribbling without going anywhere. Just one on one basketball.

Mick's teams have become notorious for poor shooting and it's tied to the fact they struggle to get open looks, so when they finally get one they don't get set, they rush the shot, etc. Team continues to go minutes at a time without a field goal because they can't move the ball and get a decent shot. Slow walking the ball up leaves them less time on the shot clock and lack of movement means many times they force a shot as clock expires. That shouldn't happen 5 times a game as it does for UCLA every game. Just a list of things going on that he doesn't understand about offense. If you let the defense dictate, and don't put pressure on the defense, you're going to stuck taking lots of poor shots and shooting a poor percentage.

Mick has been blessed with talented players, but you still need to coach offense.

He needs to hire someone who understands offense. He does not. Offense is about putting pressure on the defense. Recognizing what they are trying to do and taking advantage of what your teams skills to beat whatever they are trying to do to stop you. In the 3 point era, the first thing to do is push the ball to take advantage of defense not getting set and thus easier to get open looks. Walking it up, letting the defense get set, is a recipe for failure.
