Toyota's refreshed HiLux Rogue flagship pick-up will hit local dealerships with significant mechanical upgrades that improve both on- and off-road performance.

The upgraded HiLux Rogue will start at $70,200 Australian Dollar plus on-road costs, implying that the upgraded suspension, brakes, and body enhancements will be available to customers at no additional cost.

The suspension modifications to the Rogue revolve around a 140mm increase in front and rear track, as well as a 20mm increase in ride height. Toyota engineers improved the HiLux suspension by lengthening the front suspension arm and front stabilizer bar and adjusting the front damper angle to improve efficiency.

Because the rear axle has been lengthened, the rear dampers have been relocated closer to the wheels. A rear stabilizer bar has been installed for the first time on a HiLux, which helps to improve roll rigidity by 20% and improve steering feel when cornering and changing lanes.

The brakes have also been improved, with rear ventilated disc brakes replacing the existing drum brakes, which aid in stopping power.

The new wide track overfenders and mudguards that house the new increased track width and integrate seamlessly into the front bumper distinguish the upgraded Rogue, while the existing 17-inch alloy wheels have been replaced with 18-inch alloys with a darkened finish.

Rogue keeps HiLux-exclusive features like the innovative, locally developed motorized roller cover, stylish resin sports bar and design touches, and a tub lined with marine-grade carpet.

Other standard features include heated front seats with perforated leather accents, a panoramic view monitor, and an integrated trailer wiring harness with tow-ball.

The Rogue comes standard with a nine-speaker premium audio system, but customers who place an order may be offered a $750 discount on a six-speaker audio system.

Toyota Australia has implemented this temporary strategy to ensure customers' continued supply of Hilux Rogue. Toyota dealers are in the best position to provide customers with wait time estimates for specific vehicle orders.

The HiLux Rogue is powered by a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine with 150kW/500Nm and a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Rogue is available in nine exterior colors: Glacier White, Frosted White, Silver Sky, Graphite, Eclipse Black, Nebula Blue, Feverish Red, Saturn Blue, and Oxide Bronze.

10 лет езжу на пикапе таком- одно удовольствие. На рыбалку с лодкой в кузове и мотор там, а также в кузове встаёт двухместная палатка. Кроме этого, вожу в кузове эндуро мотоцикл. Если любишь природу и активный отдых - лучшее пикапа нет ничего. А для разъездов по городу и по трассе я предпочитаю седаны. Приходится иметь две машины для нормального передвижения по любым дорогам.
