Although she was not supported by her late husband, Prince Henrik, the queen is undergoing rehabilitation with her eldest son and heir, Crown Prince Frederik and his wife, Crown Princess Mary.

Mike Freed, CEO of The Diamond Pro, estimated the value of Queen Margrethe's ring at about seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars: "The ring boasts two massive square-shaped diamonds, probably cushion-cut or radiant. The two stones are uniquely placed next to each other diagonally. I would estimate each diamond at 6 to 8 carats, which means the ring could be worth more," Mike says.
