I just realized how much your channel has grown since I subscribed. I can't remember if it was around 2500 or 5000 subs when I hopped on board. This video is a nice refresher and a few bonus tips for me. Thanks Alex.

Ive been using Premiere for decades and have even taught the Adobe suite, so I am defiantly not new to Video Editing. Transitioning to Linux for personal use I found myself completely lost, stuck in the Adobe mindset and muscle memory. I knew I could do what I wanted with Resolve, but I just could not figure it out on my own. Your videos have helped me so much. Thank you!

I almost didn't watch this....thought for sure I knew transform backwards and forwards, but knowing your videos I figured there'd be at least one new trick I'd pick up. Sure enough, I learned some new things!

Thanks Alex, this was cool, I didn't know I could click on the name of the transform to reset it, always learn something new from every one of your videos. Have a great weekend! Awesome as always!!!!

Great video. I think that going back to basics is a good move as I know a lot of people are changing to resolve and need your insight. I am picking up things I missed first time round.

So I normally edit with 5 cameras playing at once so I can see which angle works best at which cut, I had zero idea that you could resize prior to dropping onto timeline, even better to know you can do it to multiple video files at once. Literally takes me hours manually resizing every file, and when it’s from 10 hours of footage, times by 5 cameras, times by action camera cutting the file into segments, so much work saved!! Thank you for this!

This is so much easier than Premeire! I was using Loupe Deck knobs in PR and was trying to find a similar, fine tuned way to do it in Resolve. Thanks for showing me!

I love the thumbnail of your last two tutorials. Funny and cute 😍 . That's what I call a cat transformed 😃
Thank you Alex for your time and work you put teaching and sharing what you know.
I like your tutorials of DaVinci resolve a lot!!!

Informative and entertaining as always. I don't think that you mentioned that the anchor point also determines the center of the zooming. Let's say that there is a logo in the corner of the screen and you want to make it bigger. This will require both adjusting both the offset to keep it on screen and the zoom to increase the size. Set the anchor point to the center of the logo and then the offset and zoom adjustments will be much easier. Job done.🙂
