Have you ever felt like you were floating outside of your body or watching yourself from a distance? If so, you may have experienced depersonalization.

Depersonalization is a dissociative experience that can be triggered by trauma, stress, or anxiety. In some cases, depersonalization can be caused by a medical condition, such as a brain injury or a neurological disorder.
