Why Do I Homestead?

#shorts Truly, the empty grocery store shelves a few years ago are what opened my eyes to preparedness and homesteading. I realized I never want to depend on a fragile system that essentially broke over night and can have problems at any moment. I don’t want to be priced out of buying food. Do you know how cheap it is to have a garden? You grow food for a fraction of what you get it for in the stores.

Homesteading has changed my life and has allowed me to see that I am capable to care for myself and my family. Building a food storage and learning to grow a garden is resilience and it is never to late to start!
