My 1st Shiba was super easy to train. However, my newest Shiba came to us afraid of everything...and I mean everything. She’s slowly warming up to us after 3 months, but only at night. Sudden sounds, or motions sends her running in fear, tail tucked. During the day, in our fenced in back yard, where she’s really safe, any noise, and sound of a neighbor, she tucks her tail & cries to get in. Walks are a terror fest for her. I did get her to master the sit & down commands, and am working on the leave it. She’s 5 months old now & we are so behind in her training because of her fear of everything, so we are trying to work on that before tackling more complex commands. Just wish I knew how to get her to not be so afraid. I was spoiled by my 1st Shiba, who we had to say goodbye to due to cancer last March.😢
