This Bible study devotional covers Joel 2:18-3:21. In this passage, God responds to Israel’s repentance with promises of mercy and restoration.

As always, we are committed to showing you how Jesus fulfills these specific passages. In Joel 2:18-3:21, we show Jesus and his Spirit fulfill each of God’s prophecies to Israel and Joel. In Jesus, the Spirit comes, our enemies will be defeated, and the garden of Eden will return.

God created light on the first day. In the new earth, Jesus is the light and there is no need for the sun. The moon (lesser light in brightness) and the stars rule the evening/night, but the sun (greater light in brightness) rules the morning/day. The earth is surely not a globe. Christ Jesus is the author of eternal salvation to them that obey him. Hebrews 5:9. We will not eat pork nor be drunk in the 1, 000 year reign of Jesus Christ, nor in the new earth. If we put on Christ at baptism, we can also put off Christ by continual willful sin in idolatry like sundaykeeping and observing times like Christmas, Easter, January 1st, etc which God never told us to do. Following the righteous Christian religion will make us suffer in the world but we shall reign with Christ. Let us respect the new moons, holy days and sabbaths which are a shadow of things to come. Colossians 2:16; Isaiah 66:22, 23. Believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved. Love others as Jesus loves you.
