Great comparison! I'm team SE - upgraded from an ancient 42mm Series 1 to a 44mm SE 2. Huge improvement, and I didn't feel like I needed the additional features of the Ultra for what I do, which is basically tell time and track my rings. If I'm doing something where I might damage it, I'll either just take it off or wear my old one.

As a big fan of the Apple Watch and long time user of the 4, 5 & 7 i recently switched to the ultra. And a huge selling point that’s often overlooked in my opinion is the difference in screen design. I have broken 3 watches, hence the changes, due to dropping them. With the ultra I don’t have that fear anymore as the screen protected by that tiny lip. So that alone was absolutely worth the switch. At least for me.

The battery difference between the SE and Ultra with both on cellular is HUGE. The Ultra still has plenty of juice at the end of the day, while the SE often needs a charge before the end of the day. It really depends on whether you can give your watch a charge during the day or not.

This is by far the best review I’ve watched on the Apple Watch ultra and Apple Watch SE. These real life comparisons are what count, I’d personally stick with the Apple Watch SE as it’s the best value for money. If you so extreme outdoor activities like scuba diving or mountain climbing then go for the Apple Watch ultra

I had an SE2 for 3 months. Really really good Apple Watch. The battery life was good. Now I have the Ultra. It is OUTSTANDING and I would never go back to the older Apple Watch design. Worth every Penny of the price to me. Best Apple product I have ever owned.👍

I was really having a tough time on which watch to get. Recently got the ultra, and I love it. The battery is amazing when the phone is near by and on cellular only I’m not than happy as it’s still a tiny watch so being able to go for a walk and use my AirPods to call without my phone… just so awesome

I love multitasking on Apple Watch SE 2! The multi tasking is excellent in SE 2! If u really don’t care about ESG, temperature sensor and the slightly big screen then SE 2 is great! It has the same chipset as series 8 and Ultra, crash detection with requires high end Gyroscope, High end Accelerometer!

Loved this video! Some of the features the ultra has you can also find in smaller form with series 8 and you have an option for stainless steel, but that will also come with a premium price tag too. I really enjoyed watching you put the least expensive and one of the most expensive apple watches to the test!

I'm a huge believer in "Check before you buy", and am lucky to live within 15 minutes of an Apple Store so, when I was looking to get my first Apple Watch last year, I went in and tried all the models, sizes and colours.
I'd originally been drawn to a darker colour, but wasn't sure of size.
I ended up getting a Nike Series 7 41 in Starlight - didn't need the 8's extra features, but wanted more than what the SE2 had to offer (the Ultra was just too big/expensive). Have to say, I absolutely love it.
