While I admit to loving the spin with the tech side of this new version... I am a little disappointed in the fact that this version does not truly represent the book and the full story of Collin, Dickens, and Mary. Mary and Collin have a love story that grows in the true story. One that begins as friendship, and once grown, turns to love and marriage. They were not family, and it would have been nice to see that part of the story included in this version. That said though, this was a very unique and intriguing version, and I did enjoy it greatly. Having seen the original movies, read the book and even seen a play of this once, I do still think this was a great spin off, in its own right and manner. Thank you for sharing this with us!

I enjoy watching it, I remember that movie when I was a teenager it was a series @ it was not a machine related Robin then is a bird @ the garden is a beautiful nature man made garden oh wow it all coming back in my mind now I'm in early 50 widow w/o child still I enjoy watching it. The message is about love for the family.

the original movie was better, one of the most magical films i ever seen that sticks with you forever. thats the only reason im giving this one a chance, but so far it feels awkward. the soundtrack especially is…quantity over quality. the soundtrack from the original film and the sweet little actors…impossible to improve upon by changing.
