Having a high school education is better than no education I do have mines.Many people frowns on GED as being inferior to an actual High School Diploma well, in actuality both credentials are equivalent they basically carry the same amount of weight as a matter of fact 95% of colleges, and employers accept GED Diplomas the same way as a High School Diploma.

I got my ged for those exact same reasons in this video and now I’m in a community college and Im planning on working towards becoming a finalist for the NY times scholarship so they can help me go to Harvard after I finish my associates degree. I’m glad I made this change in my life without the support of my family I still pulled through and will continue to push further .

I'm enrolling into Tomlinson to get my G.e.d tomorrow, I'm going to get my g.e.d than I'm becoming a correctional officer than I'ma go to college to become a police officer or something that could help all races with good benefits

My reasons why for getting my ged is not only to increase my income but the GED helps me expand job oppurtunies! It feels good to accomplish something you're working for!
I also want to increase my independence as well.

I tried for over three years and I never got a GED. I came to realization a GED doesn’t determine your ability to learn or work hard, let alone to improve yourself. Speaking as someone who got four jobs without a GED, I am living proof of the fact that you don’t need a GED to create your own business, to find jobs, and improve yourself. A GED is worthless. The good news is that there are viable alternatives out there.

I never graduated, the only reason i want to get one is because its required to be in the military. I work at boeing as a mechanic and have never had trouble getting a job. Its just a piece of paper to me tbh.

I don't have a diploma or ged. My sister got her ged some 15 years ago. It has NOT changed her life in anyway. I several people that have ged's and it has NOT helped or improved their lives in any way. The ged is a goverment document that goverment do's NOT recognize.
