Hey guys thanks for watching. by the way, you have to have VDI server configured on it's own server. Installing it on a DC will not show the templates. Please enjoy.

Was looking for exactly this type of info so I can see "how" this all works without going through tons and tons of documentation, etc. I'll definitely be checking out other videos of yours. Hi Bernard, great video. I'm "old school" with IT, new to the VM world, so thanks for getting me started. Did you do any of the other videos you mentioned, licensing, web portal access, etc? If yes, do you have a way of stringing them all together so that it's a start-to-finish series? There's not much reference material that I can find on this stuff (that I can find so far anyway on the interwebs), so a start-to-finish series would be great for a lot of folks, I think.

if the server is combined with the active directory role, then the template will not be displayed in the list of templates

Hey, hope you read this: I can't get it working, I deleted the local user account and enabled the admin account on the template but when I try to add the template, it shows "Could not identify the state of the virtual desktop. Ensure that the RD Vizualization Host server [Server] is available on the network and the virtual desktop VMTemplate is shut down". I tried installing it from a fresh install 3 times and just can't get it working. I already enabled Rdms-UI Logging but can't find someone who has the same error as me. Can you please help me?

hi, im in a lab testing but i dont see the vdi template is it because i have the domain server in the same machine ? thats the only diference we have i guess

Great Video thanks. Can you deploy a Hyper-V VDI Cluster with two WS2019 Data Center Edition nodes running Storage Spaces Direct and install everything in VM's on that cluster (i.e. Domain Controller's, DNS, DHCP, Connection Broker, WEb or do some roles have to be outside the Hyper-V VDI Cluster ?
