What does it mean to glorify God?
Growing up in the church, you've probably heard the phrase, "glorify God" before. But what does that really mean? How can we actually glorify the lord? In this video, I share with you 5 practical ways to glorify God- through worship, loving others, becoming more like Christ, serving others, and telling others about Him!

as a small contribution i can say that forgiveness is so, so important. even for the smallest slights in your everyday life, we’re called to forgive as he forgives us, even in our hearts before the offender seeks it, like jesus did when he called out, “forgive them, for they know not what they do!” how terrible does that really sound? it’ll make the brightest difference in our everyday lives :)

You're right when you say that worship is more than going to church on the weekend. Our entire life should direct glory to God.

Colossians 3:17 said that whatever we do in words or deed, we should do it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. This way, everything we do we honor and glorify Him.

One day, out of the blue, I understood completely how much God loves and cherishes me as I am. So I invited him to fill my heart with His Love and Heavenly Peace overflowing.

My heart is filled with so much of his heavenly peace that it overflows with heavenly love. I feel so loved and cherished. NO ONE AND NOTHING CAN EVER HURT ME AGAIN! Now, I am at peace with everything and everyone in my life. I can even forgive and bless my enemies! If you haven't already, I encourage you to invite him! He is knocking at the door of your heart waiting for you to open it so he can embrace you with Heavenly Love! JESUS SAID keep your mind on him and he will keep you in perfect heavenly peace. YESSS. Glorifying God by loving is so important and with loving others you become more Christlike and are more likely to serve others. I love how things like this are all connected, so it might sound difficult to accomplish ALL of them, but we can start small and grow in so many different areas.

Praise God for deserving all the glory and making us partakers in his glory by glorifying all the beauty in and of him! As a child I suffered through my parents divorce, my world collapsed, my home I'd always known now felt cold and empty. 13yrs later I at 23 suffered a divorce with my own child involved. I'll never forget the pain of knowing how much my child would suffer as I did growing up and not being able to stop it. I fell to my knees broken. In 2010 my last marriage to a woman who suffers from mental health problems came crashing down. The mental health care system is very lacking in the U.S. and did not help my wife only did more damage. With all this in which I struggled thru I see were God was carrying me. Like the poem "Foot prints in the sand" God has graced me with the experience to understand and help others struggling with death of family known as divorce. He has given me the desire to be there for others at such a trying time and never once have I felt it a burden. People going thru divorce are living in misery and want nothing more than to talk and talk alot during that time. I always tell them to call all they need, which can be 10-20 times a day. But I have been thru that and know how bad it truly is. I praise the Lord for the suffering in my life as he has taught me so much. I still get calls from those I helped along the way, they profusely thank me for being there and seem to think I'm really amazing for doing that. But I have to say it was not me but God who used me to help them he gets all the glory and I was blessed to witness his glory in their life as he went about his work. It's a truly beautiful sight to behold. To God be the Glory.
