Right. Time for mature women emancipation. I’m 71 years old and I’m sick of being looked at as a poor, old lady with one foot in the grave. I never felt better in my life.

I stopped colouring my hair in 2020 because I was stick of chasing roots and feeling like I had to hide something. Now it’s silver and shiny and healthy and I can do more with it. It’s freeing. I don’t look older, I look better, and truthfully I don’t care if someone sees me from afar and and takes me for a lil ole lady. I can still kick their asses if necessary.

The fact that this is a “book” and he didn’t even write it himself, when he was asked on The View about who said some of the quotes he had no fkn’ idea. It’s so odd to see someone being interviewed for something he didn’t do and grasping admiration and praise for it. Speechless.

SJP quote “I know what I look like. I have no choice, ” Parker, 56, continued. “What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?”

The hypocrisy is Andy Cohan commenting on this when the entire Bravo series is based on looks and vanity. Example: the Kardashian’s

*Camera cuts to drew standing up raging* "LET HER EAT LUNCH" 🤣🤣 Really, I needed that. Thank you Drew!

The hypocrisy is palatable. Andy is behind the Housewives franchise which I can't see as helping any woman feel good about aging naturally. He's the last one I would want to speak on this subject.

I agree with everything said, but man its frustrating when any time this subject comes up everybody ignores the fact that a lot of critism directed at women is done by other women.

Yet no one is taking women like Jane Goodall down for aging. Jane, in her 80s was just on the cover of Time. This obsession with aging just feels ridiculous and delusional in the context of real life. There is a lack of dignity in this industry and they hit the nail on the head about it.

Getting old never comes as a shock to a woman, but it’s a shock to everyone around her.

It’s ironic the Andy Cohen says he “loves women” when his whole empire has been made from focusing on the least attractive characteristics of women, making us look like stereotypical caricatures. I would never let my daughter watch anything he produces.

I feel your rage - the objectification of women (or anyone) is so oppressive, unjust and unnecessary! Thanks for saying it like it is and being a great role model! ❤️

As a woman who just entered her 30s, I have never felt so strong and confident in my entire life, which is a feeling I'm told will get stronger with age. However this is in direct opposition to what the media tells us: that after 30 is over. It's not connected to reality at all. Looks will fade, but our identities and soul will remain, and stronger than ever. I'd say it's a fair trade off to live a good, healthy, full life. And yet this sick society makes us feel guilty about aging. That's missing the point entirely! I want the right to grow old and proud!! This is why these series focusing on women in their 50s is like a breath of fresh air! Makes me remember that life, is actually freaking long if you get to live up until your 80s and even 90s. If life is over after your 30s, that means 5+ decades of your life doing what! Feeling like what! SCREW THAT. Live now! Live at your maximum. Feel the feels, wear whatever the hell you want! That is the future I WANT FOR MYSELF and for badass women I aspire to be like!!!!

Your words, Drew, were inspiring. You said what most women think and feel and yet, almost noone expresses it. Thanks!

LOVE LOVE LOVE 💜💜💜 Drew was saying what all aging women feel!

I don’t know. I feel like Bravo pits women AGAINST women. That’s how they make the 💰. Encourage as many mean hurtful cat fights as possible. . I hate watching any real housewives. 😲. Andy has profited from their horrible behavior . I feel sorry for their parents and children seeing them acting like middle schoolers . Very embarrassing and pitiful.

As an ex-model who was “too fat” at 126 pounds 5’8” and moved to a promotional model, I hear and second that emotion!!

Andy is a damn fool if he doesn't quote Drew's "Let her eat Lunch!" in his next volume.
