The prime minister has been hearing from senior doctors, administrators and members of the government on how to fix the NHS.

Doctors have warned the service is in an "intolerable and unbearable" state

But the British Medical Association was not invited to the forum, which has been been dismissed by some as a publicity stunt.

Had to wait for members of his extended family to tell him about what was happening. I am in South Africa and can see it.

If all managers are sacked. NHS will regain the past glory. Managers responsible for the dire state of NHS divert the salary funds of the managers NHS will be self suffixient

Government - desperate much? If GPs bother to work, there might be a solution - but they don’t.

No one voted for this man. " There should now be a general election every time a PM stands down. End this madness

The first NHS hospital, built in 1926, was originally called Park Hospital.
It treated the first ever NHS patient on 5 July 1948, 13-year-old Sylvia Diggory.

Penicillin was not available to the Public until 1943.
Penicillin was first used in the treatment of syphilis as recently as 1943.

Due to World War II, the United States played the major role in developing large-scale production of the drug, thus making a life-saving substance in limited supply into a widely available medicine.

Since then, the NHS has grown in size, capability, and expense.

The question is, how much, or, how far does society wish to go, or, spend on the NHS?

Further, is Sunak even aware of the history of the NHS to make a judgement call?

End vaccine rollout, end diversity managers, end bank nurses, stop consultants having private practices, stop testing asymptomatic staff for Covid, insist on fixed price from pharma companies or better still nationalise them.

People seeing this really need to remember that old adage:

I commend the effort I sincerely pray for improvement. What this segment does not mention is pay, as if employees will just heed the clarion call for pennies. My guess is he will have to find more money to recruit the staff required to fix all these problems
