They are different than tacos because you get them at concessions, burger, or ice cream stands. So you are actually walking around a game or the park with them and none of your contents spill when you go to take a bite. And Fritos are used mostly because they are a better shape for using a spork or whatever

Pierogies from Pittsburgh, growing up i didn’t know it was like a local thing until my moms coworker came and had never tried them. Also our baseball team literally has 6 people dressed as pierogies have a race halfway through the game, so i think it’s kinda our thing.
