There is so much more to life than football. I love Tua, and I want him to have a great life.

He need to be lock up. Stupidity has no place in football. Just by the look of his playing skills, how to avoid head injury, he has none

His football future and health are directly related. If he chooses to keep playing he should never be able to sue the nfl for health problems.

He can always be in the football arena by either coaching or commentating please offer the young man one of those positions to prolong his precious Ife. 🙏🏿🙌🏾

As an X college football player who has dealt with concussions, it’s just not worth it. While I understand the love of football and the difficulty in making such a decision, Tua really needs to retire.

The stupidity of the Miami Dolphins as a franchise is off the charts.

Good point someone else made.. how many concussions did he have over his high school and college seasons... im sure there were a few during those years too. He has guaranteed money even if he walks away. Makes you wonder what his future will be like 10 to 15 years from now when the fame and spotlight are gone and he is a regular dude trying to live his life.

Tua is one of my favorite football players, so I have to tell him that it's okay to walk away. Your health is more important than football.

It’s kinda aggravating constantly hearing people say Tua needs to retire but js browns cornerback Denzel ward has his 5th concussion

If you ask Mcdaniels what color the sky is, it'll take him 30 minutes to answer it. He's part of the problem too. We are in serious trouble.

This is gonna be very controversial if something very bad happens to that kid. Nfl should do something I can't believe we are just going to watch this play out. Nfl has to protect their players better please nfl negotiate to release him or we are all going to be sorry for letting him play

He had the first down already. Awareness is key. Just slide. Yes he could've been hit, but not in the head. The game was over. Now look how the team is. Who's heard of his backup? Health first then team. Apparently didn't learn his lesson.

This may be harsh but it is because I am really concerned about Tua - what is not being told is his medical record when he played in high school, his medical record when he played in college and now the complete medical record as a professional football player. Ir is the unknown that concerns me - Tua has just signed a multi-million dollar contract and it is obvious he plays for the money - but does he really know what can and will happen to him if just maybe one more concussion caused him permanent brain damage? He is thinking about the money and what it brings him, he thinks about the fame associated with being a top rated professional football player but what he is not thinking about is his wife, his children and his family members. If he suffers permanent brain damage he is not the only one who suffers it his his wife, his children and his family. Does Tua really know and appreciate the fact that his health is more important than his money? Does he know that not being able to live a normal life impacts his family? Does he really know that permanent brain damage could mean all his money has to go for round the clock care and treatment just for him to stay alive? Yes I have heard the words of the coach that Tua is more than just a player, yes I have have seen him kiss Tus's head, yes I have heard the coach stumble with words about Tua and what might happen with him - but never once does he say anything about the long term possibility of permanent brain damage. Money is what drives professional football, the players, the coaches, the assistants, the owners, the profits they all make but Damar Hamlin learned a very hard lesson last year when he almost died on the playing field - it was the work of good medical people and the Almighty that saved his life. Damar is now able to play again because what happened to him was something "unnatural and something that seldom ever happens" - Tua has already had a recorded 4 concussions in the space of 26 months - - how much can the neck and brain take? One would think with all the education Tua has had he would recognize the dangers playing professional football - all other players recognize that just one play could mean the end of their life - Tua does not seem to understand that and it is my personal belief he refuses to recognize the dangers because he is more concerned about the money. In my lifetime I never want to witness a professional football player killed on the playing field. I almost witnessed death on the playing field with Damar, I don't want to see that happen with any other player of any team.
