The best plastic straw alternative for people who do not need straws will always be to just not use a straw. For people who do need straws, such as disabled people, plastic straws are the only option that is actually safe to use for everyone who needs it.

What they should do with those sweet kick tablets and also do the mberry tablets (the ones that make it so you can't taste sour) at the same time and then try the Stang drink.

Since the late 90’s, there’s been a pump designed to keep your soda carbonated longer, and it fits on 2 liters and 20oz bottles. I believe “Pampered Chef” sold it, and it did work.

For the second product, it doesn't actually work. The air you pump in does not contain the same amount of CO2 as in the soda, so the CO2 will still leach out of the soda until the CO2 in the airspace of the bottle have equalized. Products like it have caused many injuries from someone opening a bottle, not realizing how over pressurized it is.

The pressurize thing for bottles is a fantastic idea! While it isn't an indefinite fix, it does help it last longer. That one should not be rejected.

The fizz keeper works by maintaining the pressure in the bottle, as the pressure is what keeps the fizz from escaping

Whenever you depressurize a bottle, it loses carbonation until it's either completely pressurized or there's no fizz left

For the soda pump, I work at a science museum where we use it with a bottle and isopropyl alcohol. The pump is a great way to make a cloud in a bottle using these items. Give it a try sometime!

I used to work for Pepsi, and to keep carbonation you need the drink to be 40 degrees F and some level of pressure so that pump cap would technically work so long as there is enough pressure
