Oh, yes, tough was a big part of our vocabulary growing up in Kansas, USA! Lol😂 Isn’t it funny how some expressions are used worldwide and then there are some that are unique to our areas. In addition to your genius crafting ideas, I so enjoy hearing about your life and experiences in your part of the world! There are differences, but we have far more things in common! You’re a joy!

Your envelopes are great, and I also enjoyed your stories. Good luck with your vacation plans. I hope the heat is tolerable and the company well behaved. As far as your question, I grew up in Texas and probably got "tough" as a response to my complaints ten times a day. The tough t comment was never tolerated by my grandmother, but my cousins used it frequently when they were sure she wasn't around. Thank you for being so generous with your storytelling and your talent.

Love these envelopes pockets. It’s not at all boring to watch, it gives me all kinds of ideas. My ex husband & I owned a construction business for 17 years & unfortunately when you go anywhere you see all the little mistakes, or big sometimes. Sometimes it’s shocking to see the work that is done. We would have never left a job with mistakes. Usually in the states you will see doorways & windows that have gaps & floors with spaces between the floor & trim. I’m just dying to see Italian architecture & will make it over some day. Thank you for sharing

Hi Rachel, I do so enjoy your videos. You ask all these questions, and I try to speak out to answer them. My mom used to say "happier than a pig in s---t" all the time. and yes, we said "tough" to the kids we weren't too keen about. Oh, yes, and "tough s--t" too. but that was when we were teenagers and being "bad". 😉😉 Take care.

Hi Rachel 😊 yes we have had some stormy weather here in Western Australia however I am sure your brother had a great time down south - beautiful food and wine and open fires to keep warm by. Just remember if the nasty man says anything to you just tell him "TOUGH Have a wonderful time away (just to spite him). Will look forward to more crafting with you and all the stories🐨

We have those very same sayings here in the states. I heard them a lot when I was a kid (a very long time ago)😬. I love how your hoardy journal is coming along. I’m still working on my signatures and I keep putting stuff into the project bin, lol 😆. All I can say is “ thank goodness it’s a big book. Thank you for sharing and thank you for all your hard work. Hope all is well. 🥰💕

I like you telling us what Italian word mean. And Aussie phrases. Here in Oklahoma we have ‘happy as a pig in the mud’ or ‘sunshine’. 🫶🏼 As kids we always said ‘Tough’.

Rachel, 2 years ago, my mother and daughter and myself spent 2 weeks in Italy in 6 different cities from Anacpri, Naples, Verona, Florence, Rome and Venice even though we stayed on the go we had a wonderful time and learned so much and the architecture and art is so different depending on where you go. I would love to go back some day (the food was amazing especially the desserts)

Oh I want to go to Italy! Someday, I will, and I would love a textile tour. Loved today’s video, even the mistakes, because I’ve done a lot more. Thank you, Rachel!
