Billy always tells tall tales. I'm quite sure Dusty's vocals on the last couple of tours had all been pre-recorded (and 1/3 of Billy's vocals too). He was losing strength before we really noticed it. Some clips expose the lip-syncing.

They weren't lucky to have that recording... they had been using it for a while now.

That said, it IS a nice idea to frame it as a tribute to him now.

They do a GREAT JOB! Nobody is lip syncing every concert. Why does this younger generation want to be so negative Relax and have a good time! 🤠👍 Life is too short to bitch about every little thing. Majority of the so-called big new ax play backup tracks to help their songs all the time and they do it once for Dusty and people have a freaking heart attack!

In my opinion Elwood's bass playing/sound does not have the same power/bottom than it was with Dusty.. does not sound good, sad to say...
