Met Billy Gibbons at the Union Station bar in Los Angeles. Told him I was a big fan and so were my drinking buddies. He walks to all my drinking pals..60-70 yr olds..proceeds to allow a picture and shakes everbodies hand. Cool as dude.

These guys are from the time when there was made real music.

And it's still better that most music made today.

John Fogerty is possibly the best singer songwriter ever. I want to blast Born on the Bayou indefinitely. It's better than perfect. ❤you John!

I get goose bumps when I hear this stuff. ‘Twas 1976 and we just moved to Houston from back East…Mom was managing a U Totem convenient store and we high schoolers were her crew.. when one day these long bearded dudes came walking in from the apartments across the street and bought a buncha munchies. We were like “are you ZZTop?!!” (New to us Philly girls)… and yep ! Sure was!! They were so cool and normal.. I can even remember their junk food of choice 😂, chocolate bars, peanut butter crackers, chocolate milk… they were our regulars for a while til I guess they hit it big n moved on up.. Summer of “76” ❣️ When Houston was at its best !! 😊 Fogarty is who kept us from being homesick in those days. GOOD TIMES!!🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️

Just look at the difference in talent between 70’s rock and today’s artists. I could watch these guys all day!

damn John's voice is still pure gold to this day... hearing him still singing (almost effortlessly) in the same key as in the 70's is unbelievable
