Due to a large amount of comments on the topic, I feel the need to mention that raw accel is approved by Riots anti cheat team. Anyone who claims to be banned by it is lying, cheating or had some unfortunate coincidence with a non accel related false positive. This has been confirmed by the Riot anti cheat team. I have seen people have false positives they message the anti cheat devs, and they were unbanned, AND the devs confirmed the initial bans had nothing to do with raw accel. It is completely safe.

I started use it cuz i play on small laptop screen and it was impossible to shot on long distances without a very low sens, with low sens i can't make flicks and be precise on short and medium distances.
Rawaccel helped me cuz now on very high distances im like on low sens and on others i have my normal fast sens, my aim improved sooo much just in 3 hours of making my perfect personal settings

Just to speak on my experience with Mouse Accel: I tried it for about three weeks. I tweaked my curve every other day, inching closer to perfect each time. During this experiment, I played aim routines/warmups 1-2 hrs per day (mostly Voltaic) and Valorant. For me, I couldn't make it work. My aim felt very inconsistent (probably due to the amount of tweaking required). While on some days, my curve felt like an aimbot, most of the time I had no confidence in my aim. This led to slower flicks which is pretty detrimental in Immortal. Also, when clearing angles quickly, often my mind would be distracted by my curve instead of focusing on the game.

I know there are so many variables at play here, but after those three weeks and losing about 150rr over that time, I switched back. The positive aspect is that I now play on a slightly lower sens than before (from 45cm/360 to 60cm/360) and quickly returned to and then surpassed my previous form.

I think it's totally worth trying, and it'll improve your overall mouse control whether you stick to it or not, but for a lot of people the benefits might not outweigh the immediate (likely) negative in-game results. Most people want to aim train to improve at real games, and taking the time to find a perfect curve WHILE actively playing their game is not fun. If you are comfortable with going through a slump or just queuing on an alt account for a couple weeks, you should give it a try. But if your main goal is to climb in the game you're playing, not just have a bit of fun experimenting with accel because it has the potential to slightly improve your aim, there are so many other avenues of your play to work on that are more conducive to climbing ladder

A pro tip I found out is if you don't like mouse acceleration or don't want to relearn a sensitivity you can still get a benefit out of this program. If you apply the acceleration only to the Y axis, then you can control recoil much easier while not effecting the rest of your aim. This is more beneficial in games with higher recoil

At the end of the day, i feel like static sens vs accel is just as much preference as your sensitivity is in general. I think some people aim in a way where accel will be good for them, and others don't. Just as some people aim in a way where high sens is good for them and others low sens. I recently switched to raw accel and im really liking it so far. What made me kind of realize it was for me was that every sens i was on always felt too high or too low. I'm notably bad with my fingers, so anything around and above 45cm, I always felt i was lacking precision. Anyting around and below 55cm, the precision was there, but I felt like i was putting in way too much work for long flicks. Everything in between 45 and 55 just felt like a weird gray area where sometimes i was fast and sometimes i was precise, but still never both at the same time. So far, accel is bridging that gap for me.

I currently play on 1600dpi 0.18 in game and have watched many of your videos. I tried raw accel for a few games and the greatest benefit for me is that my wrist don't tire out as quickly. However, I find that due to muscle memory, it is hard to get used to and while at times I can get amazing shots in, I find myself being less consistent. I definitely still think it's worth a try though for anyone who wants to.

Raw accel is a must have. Turned it on and now i click heads on a low sens and can flick with the accel

thank you for this video, not only on behalf of others but also on behalf of me. so many people have been asking this question that i stopped replying instead of trying to help them, its just too much

for me I really go back and forth with rawaccel, I like both a static sens and accel. it’s fun but it adds a layer of inconsistency compared to a static sens.

Mouse accel really helps for arena fps games like Quake, where you are jumping around and doing 180's all the time. You don't really get the benefits of mouse accel in Valorant/CS unless you play a lot of deathmatch. But then you would be optimizing your mouse settings for a mode that should really be to train correct crosshair placement and movement.

I use raw accel for flicking and clearing and tracking on close range in valorant. I ran 0.25 400 dpi for months without raw accel and it was very hard to clear angles and to kill people close range. I optimized my raw accel so I can do a 180 when I want to, but I still have very good long range aim (rank asc3) Peak Immo 1. If you are on a low sens in valorant I "strongly" recommend using ----> raw accel or at least trying it out

Im immortal and I can use both high and low sens but I feel the pros and cons of each everytime I use them. With rawaccel, I turn off gain, and have it almost double my sens once my mouse input is like flicking. It allows me to get more precise aiming while still being able to flick and 180 without breaking my arm.

I only use this software to change my rotation (even then, I needed to retrain my angle readings), I asked many others in aim discords and the general consensus is that raw accel will mess up your tracking aim if you play non tactical FPS games (Fortnite, OW, arena FPSs)... and even in VALORANT it will mess up pasu scenarios aim + resetting if you like to track than spam shots. Getting a larger table + big ass mat is the best compromise while using rawaccel for adjusting the sensor angle.

I think I'm going to try raw accel because I play on a relatively low sens (1600 dpi, 0.12 in game) and because of that I can't make large flicks easily so I think this will help me.

There's two reasons why I dont use acceleration:
1: i dont know if its allowed in competitions/tournaments, outside of quake. More fps gamedevs should do what those quake games did
2: setting up a curve will be annoying for a dummy like me. I just want the sens to increase for 180s and 360s to save up on space but I am not good with numbers and charts

i think if you set a perfet curve for you and get a shit ton o hours on it you prob gonna use the benefits of it, but if you keep changing it and not putting time onto it its gonna be bad for you, i think mouse accel is only for those who play 8 + hrs a day, and even if you do it may not sut you, i have more than 2k hrs on my sens (40 cm per 360) and i dont want to change at all cus i reached a insane level of consistency like winning pros on valorant DM or placing really high scores on aimlab on my warmup, if youre no willing to put a lot of time into mouse accel is not worth for you, just stick with a good sens for you and play it normally, time will make it better, if you keep changing you will not let your brain adapt to it and it will be worse, if you want to get good just practice and play a lot, theres no secret to that time will do its work

As someone who has unknowingly used raw accel my entire time gaming, I have tried playing without raw accel for some months, but it feels so unnatural. Which is the same when people use raw accel . Ofc the windows raw accel is horrid but i have been using it for 6+ years, so i found some other raw accel and it feels a lot more natural

I'll be honest, i used accel for 5 weeks, it is a useful tool. Most people think it's gonna magically make them climb ranks, it's not.. to me the biggest drawback is the fact that unlike flat sens where u are trying to find the middle ground between speed and precision, biased according to the game u want to play, and simply get your hands used to it, (anyone can get used to any sens value given enough time) acceleration is more like calibration, u have to get it perfect to where it instantly makes sense to your mind, and you'll fall into the loop of changing curves...

Playing a classic curve with offset and loving it for csgo. Even using some of your kovacs playlists and have some top 100 scores. Nice to have your thoughts to ge inspiration for my own thoughts! I had to try raw accel many times till it worked for me. I had the same inconsistence problems some people here talk about, but i could get rid of it for me.
Here ist maybe food for thoughts for you guys:
I dont use raw accel to get a really low sensitivity as a base sensitivity. I use the same sensitivity i searched for so so long as my base sensitivity (for csgo its 0.723 @ 1600 dpi thats pretty high for cs). And the acceleration helps me with faster flicks and movement, as well with another level of possibilies regarding correction of only closed missed shots. For example, if my first shot of the ak is going left of his head, i can correct that fastly in the spray with a fast handmovement and already the second bullet can hit is head. Without mouse accel this is much harder because the distance i have to travel with my hand in that short amount of time is even with my pretty high sens to big.
