Anger continues to mount over alleged rank inflation in the 2024 NEET exam, leading to ongoing protests by students demanding fairness and transparency. The Delhi High Court has refused to halt counselling for admissions to medical colleges despite accusations of a paper leak and other irregularities. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced it would seek to consolidate all petitions against the NEET results, declared on June 4, by moving the Supreme Court. Amidst the controversy, the NTA released a FAQs document addressing the allegations, attributing the higher cut-off to improved student performance and refuting claims of multiple toppers from a single center. The Delhi High Court has granted the NTA time to file a detailed reply, scheduling the next hearing for July 5. Additionally, the Supreme Court is set to hear a petition on Thursday challenging the awarding of grace marks to over 1,500 students.
