Hoses are the lifeline of a hydraulic system. But what do you do when your hose is damaged and starts leaking?

An expert will make sure that the ferrule will be crimped to the right dimension, so the assembly is according to the specifications. If the ferrule is not crimped correctly the assembly would be vulnerable to leaks or bursts.

I bought a 1962 Case 310 backhoe. About to start replacing a few lines at a time weekly. About 60% of the lines are so old the outer casing crumbling off. This will make sizing new hoses challenging.
