Spend $700 for very minumum upgrade. Plus $80 to buy the disc and $30 to get the vertical stand because the horizontal stand is total crap. At that point. Might as well invest in a gaming PC to get the performance you want.

I bought a Pro a few days after it came out, boosted graphics and gameplay is more enjoyable plus 2TB from factory
OG PS5 looks like a PS4 to me now
But, I also work a really good paying tech job lol it’s really nothing to upgrade

Yeah, no thanks. I’m sticking to my regular PS5 I got for Christmas back in 2022 thank you very much. I’m not crazy about ultra high performance, I only care about performance that’s good enough. That’s why I bought an F15 laptop and a Steam Deck besides my PS5 in the past as they weren’t ultra performance devices but good enough according to my standards. More so affordable than anything else.

With that budget, I can build a gaming PC that outperforms the PS5, especially when it comes to playing Red Dead Redemption 2. Plus, I can play games for free without needing a subscription like PS Plus.

I've seen gaming PCs in the same price (discounted) range as the PS5 Pro that can handle 1080p and 1440p resolutions with ease. This makes a strong case for choosing a gaming PC over a console.

If PS5 Pro could have had 240 hz then it would have been better but for $200 extra ray tracing is bad upgrade.

I have the OG digital one and I'll try to keep it until the PS7, or at least the PS6 Slim, got it in October as a gift and I really like it, was just getting ready to use it, honestly not even the Slim is worth it unless you find a good deal since it's more repairable
