But sir, indium mein bhi toh d10 and s2 electron hain just like that in gallium then why
indium shows less effective nuclear charge than gallium. Indium mein toh nuclear charge gallium se aur badh kar, ionisation enthalpy aur bhi zyada ho jani chahiye thi.

Just one doubt.
In Al and Ga, the outermost electron of Ga is ALSO shielded by d orbital in ADDITION to s and p orbital. So even if d prlvides low shiled it should add to the shielding of s and p orbital.
But you said that it will decrease the total shielding effect. That blew my mind.

This was reason I searched for this question in the first place. Please help me.
